So I finally got my new radiator a Spectra and I'm happy no leaks! but now it still runs hot about 220+ The needle goes to about 3 little lines above the 210 mark but back down to 210-215. Never gets under 210.
I am ordering a new ac delco water pump and replacing the coolant temp sensor and sender. I got a new radiator cap and Stant superstat thermostat too and it doesn't change anything.
How do i know if air is in the system?
Also another thing I NEED to do is change the ignition lock cylinder it's getting worse where I can't turn the key on. Takes a couple mins of fumbling with the key to get it to turn.
I'm ordering an Acdelco replacement for $20 but it says it needs programming at the dealer? Anyone have a right up on how to do this and does it need programming?
It's a 1997 chevy tahoe 5.7
thanks
