stock exhaust size diameter

Got a 98 Yukon that has a dual stock system I want to change from muffler back was wondering if I cut it off right before the mufflers what size pipe will I have to adapt to? Looks like 2 maybe 21/4 wondering if anybody knew off hand? Don't have calipers!

So the stock dual h pipe diameter is 2 1/4 correct? So what size muffler should I get od or id?
