Stock speaker Impedance?

I have a 98 Tahoe 4 door LT and was wondering what the stock speaker impedance is for the front doors and rear doors? not woried about the rear cargo area speakers. I don't know if GM did anything stupid like they did on my 97 camaro with 2ohm up front and 4 ohm in the rear. My wife wants to buy me new speakers for X-mas and my plan is to just run them on the factory amp and after market headunit until I get the stuff together to run them on after market amp and crossover. Can someone shed some light on this please.Thnx

Run some 4 ohm speakers, no issues.
