2003 Tahoe

So in my Nissan Sentra B16 I have 2 12" with stock stereo. Got the rca's cables using a high to low input converter. Got the signal from my rear speakers and want to do the same on my Tahoe.

My question is do the rear tweeters on the Tahoe have the filter in the speaker itself like those small aftermarket tweeters or is the signal that runs to the tweeters already filtered?

For the converter to work I need to get a normal signal so if the one of the tweeters are high level then it will not work but I don't know if its already filtered or not. I have an idea on how to test it but its really cold right now to just mess around with it and find out that its a high level signal so just asking if any one already knows

Thanks.

I did this on a 08 Bose Tahoe and worked. So I think it would work for you as well
