Stock Suspension Sag or New Springs Need to Settle?
I picked up a 2/3 Ground Force kit with shocks, I know it's not the favorite of some but I got a sweet deal on it and figured I would give it a shot.
Anyways I got the rear half done the other day and seems to be nowhere near the advertised drop and I am trying to figure out why.
The stock premium ride suspension on my 4x4 XL has 150,000 miles on it, before the rear was installed it sat at 35.5" now that the springs and shocks are installed the truck sits dead level at 34" at all four corners. (front keys not installed yet) I also installed an Airlift 1000 kit on the rear and the measurement was done at 5 psi.
So my questions are:
With the amount of mileage on the truck could it have already been riding lower then stock because of sag?
How much can I expect the new springs to settle?
Once I do the front drop would it affect the rear ride height?
Thanks
