Hello everyone...I have been a long time lurker, although this is my first post.
2007 Tahoe with no modifications other than aftermarket radio. Approx. 125,000 miles and engine runs great. My problem is with the Driver's information center and door chime. Two different dealers have had this truck for days on end and it won't act up for them to track down.
The door chime will start chiming for 10 seconds to 10 minutes depending on the time. When the door chime activates, the turn signals do not show as activated in on the dashboard even if they are. In addition, the drivers info center intermittently goes dark. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes these two items occur simultaneously. Other times they are independent issues.
Anyone heard of anything like this? I am at my wits end and I believe my dealer is tired of me tying up his service bays. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
