My goal use it as a daily driver, running at least 470 LBS of torque. I'd like to rebuild the stock heads, put in new rings & bearings and put in a stroker Eagle crank ($830) to make the 6.2L (362 CID) a 416 CID. I would put in a custom cam (Comp Cams $400), built for max torque, peaking at 4,300 RPM and 46 Lb Fast injectors ($400). It would need to be tuned ($400). The whole thing should cost $2,030 plus labor, depending on how much was wrong with the heads. What does everyone think? Headers & exhaust would come later with a second tune.

Add pistons to the list. With a stroker crank you move the piston pin location up in the piston (among other things) which requires new pistons.

You've underestimated costs. You need to add at least another $1500+ to the budget.

You are right, I think I should go with a rotating assembly for $2400.

I bet the torque on that thing makes you shit sideways. Badass.

Torque is 620 flywheel, 541 (SAE) at the tires. I have over 500 lb ft at the tires by 3300 RPM. It's not a top-end cam. It's real HEAVY on torque for the street.

10.6X with a 1.55 60 ft time at MIR dragway.

Sorry OP... It's not about me. Back to the regular channel programming.
