Dang Craigslist...
Stumbled on a heck-of-a deal for a 1987 Fiero GT in pretty darn good condition for just over $1k.

Spent a few more hours back at the shop giving her a complete exam and firing it up.

Now for the hard part... Making a firm decision to either Build it or Flip it. The decisions us car guys must make....

Makes me want one.

My thoughts are to fix the alternator and get it 100% roadworthy and sell it to someone that wants an original, unmolested GT, like a Fiero purist or something. Save the deep modding for one that needs repair in the first place and is better suited to be cut up.

I think this is a very rational approach and I am leaning this direction. I am going to swap that sweet steering wheel for the crappy one in my white SC Fiero (in video towards end) and perhaps the seats. I have been looking for a perfect wheel like that for 2 years and would have paid $100 for it alone. I also see the tail lights on fleabay for quite a bit of $$ which makes me wonder if parting it out might be the best way to go. Yes... I do tend to overthink these things.... Thanks for the comment!
