Picked up my truck from the dealer today and had this done:

  • Replaced passenger side temperature actuator because the last one failed, making the passenger side vents blow extremely hot air.
  • Replaced driver door lock actuator, which failed to unlock automatically.
  • Turned rotors because of the brakes grinding.
  • Alignment fixed.
  • Flushed power steering and transmission fluids and replaced with new.
  • Installed GM Advanced 2-way Remote (the key fob with the screen), FINALLY.

Surprisingly, it only took them 2 days which I thought was fast. Got in it (at the 5pm closing time) and the passenger side still blows hot air. The brakes feel thick and rough when applying pressure, and still have that grinding feeling. But the driving feels a lot better, and the 2-way remote is pretty sweet.

If the new actuator is already failing, what do you think that means? Electrical problem? I am really curious as to why it went out soo fast. Unless not even the first one died and there's actually a different problem.

The brakes will feel different just because of the rotors changing.

I LOVED my two-way I had on the other Denali

It may be another problem and not the actuator

I did pads and rotors on my 08 Escalade today. Brakes are one of the last things you can do yourself... and save a ton of money.
