So if its not one thing it's another. Service airbag came in today. Checked all connections under the seat and found nothing loose.

I have a certified warrantee that has expired but I still have a year of "free inspections"? Does that mean they will diagnose for free?

A lot of times on these trucks one of the two front sensors that are mounted to the core support go bad. I've seen a bunch that need the passenger side sensor needing replacement. See if they can at least tell you what sensor it is, and just replace it yourself.

If its one of the front sensors all you need is a 10mm and reach up from under the truck and take if off.

Thanks.

Okay I scanned it and its b0083 which I believe is the seat sensor. Makes sense cause it happened right after I placed something on the empty front passenger seat. Anyone have this before?

08grey,

Regarding your question about the free inspections and does that mean that the dealership will diagnosis for free, I believe that is something that is only offered by an individual dealership. Only your dealership can answer that question. I will be happy to reach out to your local dealership and find out if this is the case.

Okay so I think fiatdale hit it on the head on the 08 b0083 is the front end sensor not the seat. Does anyone have access to the Dtc list for the srs for the nnbs yukon?

How did you determine what side it was? Is there a way to ohm the sensor?

You have to replace this with the battery disconnected right?

Not sure man. If the code came up as front impact sensor, it has to be one of the two sensors on the Core Support... Check your seats again. Make sure the plugs that go from the seat belt buckle are connected. There's also the passenger pressure sensor to check as well. I haven't seen the buckles go bad unless they are in a wreck and lock.

I have also not seen both front sensors fail at the same time either, its usually one or the other. Not saying it can't happen though.
