suburban roof rail on tahoe?

any one done this? how much longer is it than a tahoes? i want to mount my 2 lights on the stock cross bar but with the tahoes it stops to far back and i dont really want a light bar on the roof they stick up too hight imo. i was thinking of mounting a sub rail so it would cover more of roof and put my lights closer to the front of wind sheild. i will post the pics of where it would be right now if i mounted it to the bar now.

Definitely a unique idea. I've never seen it or heard about it but it's a good idea for a light bar.

ive never seen anything too so idk how it would look. i dont think that bad i just need ot find out how long the sub ones are compared to tahoe ones

im going to guess since subs are 20" longer the rack would be around that much longer too. i might be picking up one along with some front and rear bumpers to see how the rack fits

well i got the rails off a suburban this weeknd and will do the install pretty soon once i get everything all painted up and ready for install. but incase anyone wanted to see what a suburban with no roof rack looked like i took a pic
