suburban tahoe seat swap

I have an 07 Tahoe ltz and somebody is giving me their captain seat out of their 08 suburban I know some ppl say they don't fit and some ppl say they do so who is right

If you have the bench 2nd row I believe the holes are all there. Its going from captain to bench where extra holes must be drilled. (If I recall correctly)
