Sun roof noise

I just got my 10' Yukon xl washed and got on the highway and noticed a bubbling / popping noise coming from and or around my sunroof anyone have any experience with this ?

Yup, my 2009 Tahoe Hybrid makes the same noise when its raining or like you said, after a carwash. Nothing *seems* to be leaking in the sunroof area so I've been ignoring it so far, but am interested to know if it can be fixed or not.

Same here.. It drives me nuts when driving in the rain. Closing the shade helps a little, but usually I have to crank the radio up. Not sure where it exactly is coming from or whats causing it yet..

Has anyone taken the vehicle to the dealer yet to get it diagnosed? They may have already came across this issue and know what is causing it and have a quick fix for it. I would start there and see what information you get.

well my car is going to be in the shop for the next 3 days having new lifters installed and oil deflectors installed so Ill have them check it out I guess.

Did you or anyone else figure out what this noise was? I'm experiencing the same issue and about to take mines to the dealership. I know my daughters Volkswagen had a similar issue along with a wet headliner and they ended up cleaning out the two drain holes in the corners of the sunroof b/c they were clogged. I didn't know that there were tubes that ran down the pillar and exited in the wheel well for the sunroof until then.
