sun sensor replacment

I have been having problems with my HVAC so i had the dealer look at it while it was in there. They came up with the sun sensor on the dash is not working and wanted $500 to replace a $30 part....OH COURSE I SAID NO WAY. I was wondering how hard is it to replace and is it the one on the right or left on dash? Part #15740822

The problem: When i turn heat to max temp its really hot as soon as i go to like 80 lets say it get cold...the blend door goes from hot to cold and doesnt stop in between...replaced blend door got a new Head unit and still doesn't fix problem so thats why I had the dealer check it out.

thanks i wonder if the 01 is the same in the 03+ with it twisting out?

also that link had 1 sensor the denali's have 2...

I noticed near the bottom of the tutorial, it says, if you have a second sensor, this must be unplugged. So, just unplug it and when you take the dash cover out, you will see how it attaches. I would guess that it twists as well.
