Sunroof Reprogramming

I just bought a 2001 Yukon Denali, The sunroof will not close completely at the rear, It is down about an 1/2 inch. I had a 2003 Cadillac Escalade that had same problem. Several mechanics told me I needed to replace sunroof in Escalade but I discovered once the battery has been disconnected the sunroof needs to be reprogramed so I reprogrammed the sunroof by holding the controls in a certain position but I can't recall how I reprogrammed the Escalade. Can anyone tell me how to position sunroof controls to reprogram the sunroof in a Yukon? Thanks in advance.
