Sunroof Shade removal

First off, this is my first post here, but I have received so much information from the posts in this forum, thank you for that. But, I am covering my headliner in suede and I do not know how to get the sunroof sliding shade out so that I can cover that. Got the headliner down no problem, but I cant figure out the shade, any suggestions? It's a '00 yukon
