Tahoenator,

I can’t confirm when dealerships get news of incentives. However, we do not get incentive information until the day it comes out. The websites do not get updated until the day of the incentives. I can’t speak for dealerships sales teams but they should not be providing customers with incentive information until the incentive comes out.

Thank you,

Elizabeth, GM Customer Service

Just saw that the Yukon has $3k back on 2011's or 0% for 60 months.

Do you think that will get any better as the 2012 begin to hit dealer lots?

We got the updates today. $3,000 or 0% on the Yukons (last month it was $2,000). Plus they are doing some weird program that gives you included auto insurance for a year or something through Met.
No incentives on the 2012s yet. Summer selloff will probably start somewhere around August/Sept. to clear out 2011s so dealers start ordering 2012s but no idea of what those will be. Like Elizabeth said, we do not get advance notice on incentives until they go public the day they come out.

Based ONLY upon what I have noticed locally, new Tahoes and Suburbans just aren't selling real good right now. My local dealer has had the same bunch in stock for a couple of months now. If this is a national trend, I suspect GMC and Chevrolet will both have to up the incentives to get them moving off the lots again.
