Suspension Differences

I'm confused as to which type of system is in the Yukon Denali vs it's siblings. Does it share with the LTZ Tahoe/Burb or the Esky?

We traded our Tahoe in a few months back for an Acura MDX, huge mistake. We all of the sudden need to tow crap all of the time and now really NEED the third row. Interested in a new Denali XL, or a used Esky Premium (used '12+) but can't seem to figure out how each of them are riding.

The Tahoe/Suburban LTZ, Denali's, and Escalades all have Auto-Ride. The others have static suspension.

But doesn't the Escalade have some kind of magnetic ride control that is different?

So I have a 07 LTZ. Does this have air springs all the way around or just rear? It has every option.

It has the air compressors on the rear only, as well as the autoride is only on the rear.

That's why I'm curious, is the autoride the same on the Denali? I know that the base escalade has an autoride but any trim level higher is different.

autoride is all the same. they all use the same front/rear shocks. Also it has the sensors on them which stiffens or softens the shocks on bumps.

So strut and spring up front. Spring shock with "helper bags" in rear. All shocks are automatically adjusted with Autoride. The compressor is only for the rear "helper bags". Is this correct?

yes its like a air shock set up in rear. and rest of what you said is right.

springs and shocks in the rear. The bag is built in to the shock. The compressor is for the rear bag (on the shock) only
