SUSPENSION HELP

How do I know which suspension I have? I see a lot of post of VIN codes like z55 and g65, not really sure how to find that information. I think I need shocks but not completely sure what I need. I have a 2005 Tahoe LT, 4x4, and it does have the autoride badge on the side.

If your rear shocks dont have air bags on them then you dont have nivomat autoride shocks. The codes are in your glove box.

You keeping it stock height?

Thanks for the help, I'm going to check inside the glove box. & I'm not really in the position right now to do too many extras, and I really don't know too much about lowering or lifting, just tryin to keep up the maintenance as of now. Im open to any suggestions tho!
