suspension lift recomendations please

I've got a '98 Yukon SLT 4door 4wheel drive that I am running 285-75-16's on. I don't do a whole lot of offroading, but do occasionally load up the kids and run through the woods. No mud, but we do go through creek bottoms and minimal climbing sand hill and such. Even with the minimal tweaking of the suspension, I get a little rubbing of the tires and am wanting to get a suspension lift. Was wanting to get you guys' opinion on wich lifts I should look into. Like I said I don't offroad much so it doesn't have to be hardcore....but not wanting to buy crap either. Was thinking of getting 6"s of lift....or do you think 3 would give me enough clearance? Thanks in advance for any and all info you can throw my way.

I've got the 6" Rough Country on my 99' 2door and I have no complaints. Its not a hardcore lift but it offers pretty good bang for the buck. My Hoe still drives and handles just as well as if stock. It does have a stiffer ride than stock though. They have 3 suspension lifts 2-3", 4" & 6" all within your budget.

RCX 6inch is 1,000 dollars. Best lift for the price.

All i can say is I got a superlift years ago and mine rides like a cloud. Love it. Everyone is always so impressed with the ride

Would go with the rough country lift. look them up in the vendor section. dont get the 2-3" lift though. Heard nothing but bad things about it.
