Hello, I am an obvious new member looking for a home for me and my 2002 Yukon slt.

I wish my first post could be something fun or cool but unfortunately I am having an issue with my new to me Yukon.

The truck has 130,000 miles on it and the previous owner installed bielstin shocks and eibach sway bars. I am currently running stock 16" wheels with Michelin tires.

My issue is that around town the truck drives fine but at highway speeds 55-75 it seems to have very touchy steering and a huge bump steer problem. It is so bad that it borderline unsafe.

I have read about the evo sensor and pitman arm replacement but These seem to be older posts. Is anyone currently suffering from these symptoms and has anyone been able to fix them.

Thanks in advance for any and all help.....

Scott

Well Welcome to TYF! Unfortunately Suspension isn't my strong point but there is a lot of knowledge on these forums. Someone will help you soon! Hope you get it worked out and driving that Yukon the way you want it.

The only thing that comes to mind, i could be dumb saying this is but could it be worn ball joints? or something?

Night furry- I have checked them and they seem ok. As do the steering components. Sure is frustrating. My next stop will be my alignment guy but I was hoping to have some suggestions for him....

Thanks
Scott
