I have a friend with a 2001 2WD Tahoe who wants to put his truck back to stock height. I have a stock height 2004 Tahoe but its AWD. Can we swap lca's, torsion keys, and rear springs? If not what are the differences between the two setups? They look the same visually. I just don't want to get into swapping it out and run into an issue. Thank you in advance for all the info.

how did he lower it? Front keys or spindles or control arms. And yes yours will swap.

in rear you can swap spring for spring also

before you do anything can you do me a favor

1) take pics of the rear of the truck ie springs/shocks/area where shocks attach to axle
2) in front I would just do the lower a arms. if its a true 4/5 drop sits noticeably lower than rear ie 1 to 1.5 inches lower
3) front a arms will need balljoints and bushings I have those and they run about 185 dollars shipped
4) in front i would do the belltech sp shocks and rear belltech sp shocks i have those 225 shipped
5) in rear for 5 inch drop you will need the djm rear hardware kit and extenders which is trailing arm relocators/shock extenders to fix axle and and new swaybar endlinks to reposition the swaybar to fix the angle and clear the panhard bar bracket
6) last but not least you WILL need to cut the bumpstop bracket off the frame ie free travel mod. If you google TAHOE FREE TRAVEL MOD click on pics and you will see exactly what needs to be done

Im just trying to set up your truck the right way. I sell all the parts but if the truck only has what your saying the ride will be horrible
