Sway bar orientation during install

The more I stare at this the bar on my truck looks different. The angle is off. This may be the whole issue here. But I wonder where the aftermarket bar came from unless Baja Fabrications installed during the BP conversion

i think yall are way over thinking this...
two options:
leave bar how it is, get shorter end links to roll the bar up in the middle between DS and kicker. but it looks like the way the mounts at the end of the bar will be in an even worse angle (binding the link up if it rolled any more down) img_3336-jpeg.jpg

I would try flipping it over and see if the mounting pads are more parallel to the LCA and get whatever length links you need, looking at the above - there are multiple holes on your LCA i would use the outer ones, the LCA travels in an arc you want it to apply pressure to the bar on that arc. if the LCA mount is inboard the bar mount youre just applying side load to the link
pretty sure i flipped my front sway bar over when i lifted it, best pictures i can find of mine right now, but you can see the bar is parallel to the LCA, and the mounting pads of the LCA and the bar are not bound up
quit trying to reengineer the whole lift kit to save 30bux on some end links

Thank you for that reference. I believe I may have figured out the bar difference. The factory bar is posted above. Mine looks like a Dorman from searching bars online. Alot of room inbetween mounting points and the side where the hump begins. Closest I have found to my bar. All other bars hump goes all the way out to the mounting bracket and the hump angle is sightly different.

I probably could get away with flipping bar and dealing with different length links.

Which photo we referencing? Not sure if that matters with the sway but if they are bad I'd like to replace. Can you tell me what youre seeing?

Right here bud I could be wrong maybe the bolt is just angled or something. @Geotrash just mentioned this part in another post today so now it's stuck on my mind. Guys on here make me skitz sometimes hahaha

Definetly a good catch. Thanks. I will inspect further when I get home. Luckily there are about $40 a side from rockauto. May suck to tear it back down but I also may be able to weasel them in I hope without full disassembly.

If this is a PPV Tahoe I guess that explains i if PPV Tahoe uses a different sway bar than RC was planning on

Yeh pretty sure the PPV or BP has a different bar fitted by Baja Fabrication. Thats what was on my springs and other suspension components with Procomp shocks.

I'm heading to a Junkyard here in LA this weekend and plan to grab a regular sway bar. Then I should be able to install the kickers. Need to get an alignment it looks pretty off. I will adjust tie rods and control arms close before I drive to shop.

Now time for gears, overland front bumper, winch and its go time. Appreciated everyone help. I'll round back after grabbing another sway.
