Switchblade Key FOB

I like the convenience of carrying one unit that is FOB and key. I was wondering if I were to get something like THIS if it would work. OR if anybody knows where I can get one that will.

That's a nice idea but would probably require some transmitter programming. Not well verse in that sort of thing so maybe someone else will answer. However if your key does not have a chip (my 01Yukon does not) you might consider intergrating your key into your key fob. Key fob shells and keys are cheap so you might want to experiment. I think I'll give it a try.

They do have them on ebay but I'm having a difficult time finding one that will work with our trucks. Seems to me you have to have a factory one to program these new ones so not sure if they make them for tahoes/yukons.

I can't stand them, I have had several over the years, my work vans are MB Sprinter and the thick/heavy keys are a PITA, especially with other keys on them. They wear quickly too. Not trying to talk you out of it, but in my opinion the grass is not greener on the other side.

i tried the saab one and it was too big after a while and pointtless and useless if you end up getting a viper alarm and starter like I did
