Tab 2 in Escalade and Have Questions

I just recently did the galaxy tab 2 install and followed ballsie's thread on how to do it. But I have a problem with my speakers. There is noise once the cable is plugged into the jack of the tablet. It's like a humming noise and only gets worse from there. Once the truck is started and driving I get a high pitched noise the higher the rpms go until the transmission shifts. I never got this noise before with the factory nav system. Anybody have any ideas?

I have had that noise when using the charger and aux plug at the same time. You may want to charge the Tab when not driving and not when in use.

you could try a inline noise filter/ground loop and see if it helps any.

definitely a bad ground on something you did. Possibly a bad cable to the tab2
