Hello, does anyone have the NT 604E Scanner ?
I don't know if this is a bug in the software or if it 'really' is saying that the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor is reading 32F. Check this out. The "ECT Sensor" reads proper and I thought that the ECT sensor is doing its reading from the coolant temperature sensor that is right next to the T-stat.
Is there a sensor that is the "ECT Sensor" that is not reading from the same coolant temp sensor ?
I don't know if i should worry about this or not. I am having high temp issues and why i am trying to debug my issue.... i am about to put on the transmission tstat bypass and a tran cooler aux on my Tahoe but i don't know if i have an issue with how the computer is reading the radiator coolant temp or not.... my dashboard gauge reads around 210 like the ECT Sensor reading shows:
