Tahoe Air ride issues

I've got the air ride system that automatically adjusts based on the load in the rear end. For a few weeks it was constantly pumping the air compressor even when the load wasn't being altered, it would just pump for 20 seconds, the stop for 20, then pump again like it wasn't able to hold pressure but I couldn't hear any leaking happening or air being released by the system. Now, the compressor has completely stopped.

Any idea what is wrong?

If your compressor runs for more than 5-6 seconds upon startup, or at any other time, you probably have a leak in the shocks' air bladders or the air line from the compressor to the shocks, or the air line connections themselves. When the compressor stops working, as in your scenario, it probably burned out trying to supply air to the shocks.

You will most likely need to replace the compressor, and once replaced, you will need to immediately use a spray bottle with a soapy water mixture and find the air leak. Once found, remove the fuse to the compressor, until you have fixed the leak (most likely a shocks replacement).
