Tahoe Center Console Installation

I am trying to figure out how to take out the black plastic console underneath the a/c controls on a 2010 Tahole LT. I decided to upgrade to the LTZ (wood bezel) console, but am clueless how to remove the black plastic one, or even install the new one. I have scoured the net for a tutorial or something, but no luck.

do u mean the cupholder area? it simply pulls up. theres instructions on removing the console here http://mobile.jlaudio.com/pdfs/12371.pdf
