Buy a battery tender, or disconnect the battery, and put fuel stabilizer in the tank. I would probably look at getting a car cover too even though it'll be inside.

I'd leave little fuel in it, and seafoam what fuel is in there. Most importantly... BE SAFE out there!

+1 on the tender car cover and stabilizer... product called STA-BIL is a great product for that... available at any auto store, its clear container and its a redish liquid. wont harm the fuel system, but will keep the fuel fresh for about 12months... just follow the directions... and just me I always clean the inside of the truck before putting it away for any period of time... just imagine that french fry you lost last week sitting for 11-14 months cooped up in your ride... giving a good vacuum and clean will keep it fresh inside for when you get back... I also would give it a good wash and dry before covering it in the garage... Be safe over there bro.

might want to consider some jack stands to take the weight off the tires. They might end up with flat spots otherwise.

Change oil and trans fluid for synthetics...
change brake fluid if possible.

Fill tank full then add STA-BIL

Run A/C on recirculate before shutting truck off to lubricate all seals

Wash and wax, make sure undercarriage is clean

Park and jack up to take weight off tires, even better if tires can be removed and stored upright indoors out of the sun.

Unplug battery, remove from truck and place on a block of wood in the garage... but don;t count on it being any good in a year or so.

wipe the door and glass seals with rubber protectant, then manually lock each door.

There IS truth to that. I store my sleds in a mice ridden barn all summer long - I load every nook with a dryer sheet. This winter when I pulled my sleds out I realized my wife left a granola bar in her windshelid bag on her sled.. With the dryer sheets around the sled there was not even a nibble on it! :) Smells a lot better than moth balls too! :)
