Tahoe LT + Luxury Package vs. LTZ vs. SLT

Tried searching old threads here and didn't see anything quite matching this. I'm looking at a new Tahoe or Yukon and I'm trying to decide on the model/trim level. The GMC SLT basically comes with the LT Luxury package included. Trying to see if there really is a benefit for GMC over the Chevy.

1. $60k - Tahoe LT + Luxury Package
2. $64k - Tahoe LTZ
   1. Seems like the only benefits over LT + Luxury package are:
   2. Magnetic suspension
   3. HID Leadlights
   4. 20" vs. 18" wheels & tires
   5. Heated & Cooled front seats where as in LT they are just heated
3. $62k - Yukon SLT
   1. Has everything the LT & Luxury package plus
   2. Heated & Cooled front seats

Where do you live? You shouldn't be paying anywhere close to those prices which is full MSRP. Tahoe LT w/Luxury Package has an invoice of $53,340, LTZ is $58k and change. Shop around and save yourself $6k+ and once rebates hit you should save more. If you find a dealer really wanting a sale they will go into hold-back which is around $1,800 which puts you at $8-9k+ off the sticker. You can get a Yukon Denali for less than the SLT sticker price...

I have a 2016 LT with Lux and Z71. The leather is very "pleathery", but is durable and should soften up with gentle conditioning. However, it is not vented (i.e., holes), and this is very noticeable (not in a good way) in hot weather.

For onroad driving I much prefer the Z71 suspension to the Magnetic suspension or standard LT (SLT) suspension. The more aggressive gearing really perks-up the 5.3, especially in Tow-Haul mode.
