Maybe possible to check with the VIN number of my 2001 Tahoe (1GNEK13T11J308213) wich kind of remote fob it needs?
FCC ID: KOBUT1BT n° 15732803 or FCC ID: KOBLEAR1XT n° 15042968?

It was my understanding that you couldn't tell which of the two remotes you need via the vin number. When I bought a new remote the parts guy handed me both so I could go try and program each of them until I found the right one.

that is correct. there arer about 4 or 5 part numbers.. unless you have the old fob, you gotta try process of elemination..

Tha problem is that from Italy I have to purchase both the fobs... I could do that if one of them could works, but I don't know if this is possible.
