my a/c in my 07 tahoe ls blows decently cool but not cold. i really have no idea what im doing or why this is happening but i heard something about freon or something. is there a quick fix to this problem?
also the brakes are very weak. i am looking for some good brakes that won't hurt my wallet too bad. not performance brakes just decent ones around a couple hundred preferably less.
and i need new wipers. any suggestions? i want good ones.
thanks a lot.

LoL you have alot of questions, too bad the people with 07-Up Tahoes hate posting in anything but the off topic section.
Anyways, I on't know whats wrong with the A/C on yours but mine does something similar so I have a Serice Appt. tomorrow, I'll tell you what they do.

Get better brakes pads at www.ajusa.com for the brakes issue, culd get new rortors but i would slap your wallet.

I ahve Trico teflon wipers from www.carparts.com, they are good and quiet. No streaks either.

I have been doing A LOT of research about the best way to go with the brakes. I am actually dropping off my rig tonight to get new brakes. From everything that I have heard, read and seen the best rotors available are the EBC slotted and dimpled rotors. These are much better quality and last longer than the PowerSlot and because they are dimpled they disapate heat very well if you plan to tow or put bigger wheels on. Stay away from anything on eBay and anything that is Cross Drilled. A slotted and dimpled rotor is the new tech. that is supposed to never crack or warp.
I am doing the front EBC rotors and EBC Yellow Stuff pads and then leaving the OEM rotors in the back and putting on EBC pads back there too. All together it is going to come to about $650 including install.

The stock OEM brakes are very poor on these new gen. tahoes. You know they are ****** when the pads last longer than the rotor.

........when the pads last longer than the rotor.

Couldn't agree anymore, I will eventually take the stock crap out of there and may do this EBC mod after I check it out.

BTW, My Tahoes A/C is pissing me off.
It constantly cycles on/off and just doesn't seem to blow cold air at all. On these hot summer days it take like 35 minutes of straight 60 degree AC on theighest speed just to get decently cold.
I took itto the dealer and they supposedly "could not recreate the problem" which pissed me off. Today it acted up again so its going back tomorrow for maybe a AC chip replacement and mybe a new compressor and freon.
Its just like the one from this link......
