Why on my passenger side tail lamp will the bulb not fit in any tail lights but the ones on the truck? I tried a set from another tahoe and the top bulb didnt fit and my sonar led lights its the same thing. Also for the record my sonars do have hyper blink

are you sure u dont have the connectors goofed up? the sonar's arent in the same order as the OE lights are...on the OE lights from top to bottom it should be turn signal (single filament), backup lamp (single filament) and tail/stop (dual filament). on the sonars, the top plug is the stop/tail so u plug what used to be the bottom one into the top one...the middle one is turn signal so u take what used to be top one and put in the middle and the bottom one is the backup lamp and bulb...so u take the bulb out of the middle of the old one and put down in the bottom of the sonar. if they are swapped then its not goin to have the resistor on the right circuit and cause the hyperflash...also, the bulb wont be the same size and wont fit the hole....

instructions for them were in the box. :) they even said on the piece of paper to make sure you did it correctly or the lights would not work properly :)

i read this thread while at work and then i got involved with some dopers so i didnt respond. on the way home I was thinking about it and i realized thats probally what happened...so i rushed right home and posted for ya :)

I fixed due to you. I agree on the dated look. I just need to update my headlights now
