Taillight not working

I have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe with aftermarket taillights and Escalade 3rd brake light modified so all the leds work. Also led reverse lights. I have the 3rd brake light wired into the left rear brake light. No problems for over a year,now I get hyperflash on the left side and the left rear taillight won't work. I changed the reverse light bulbs and checked the wiring. It worked for about !5 minutes and then nothing. The front signals work but the left rear nothing. Also last month I lowered it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update. After disconnecting the 3rd brake light and playing with the left taillight it's working but the real test is when I take it for a spin. I think the problem is the aftermarket taillight. If so it's back to the stock taillights.

Problem was the aftermarket led backup bulb. All is good but haven't hooked up the 3rd brake light yet.

Shouldn't the caddy third plug right into the regular third connection?

For some reason mine didn't. Had to hook it up with the taillight.

update. The aftermarket led taillights started acting up again so i switched back to the oem taillights. I did this last month and no problems so far. I ordered a warning canceller for the led taillights and will try installing again in the spring time.

Update. The rear left side aftermarket taillight was the problem. The middle plug negative wire was loose. Also I cut off the big resistor that came with the aftermarket taillights and replaced them with resistors from v leds. I also plugged my Escalade third brake light in the right connection. Everything works great now.

Oh well,left led tailights started acting up AGAIN! I put back the oem taillights. Over the winter I will try to fix the problem. By the way,the third brake light works so far connected in its original spot.
