Just purchased a 2015 Tahoe PPV with 18K miles and am looking for a Low Mileage takeoff OEM exhaust that someone would be willing to part with. Given the sheer number of people who are replacing exhaust systems on this board, I'd think this would be relatively easy to locate
. Preferably in Indiana, to save on shipping. I know it sounds like a strange request, but I have my reasons.
On another subject, it's been a *long* time since I had a newer vehicle, 14 years in fact (I tend to keep my vehicles for quite some time ). I have been reading many threads about air intake, exhaust, and tuning upgrades. How much can you alter a vehicle without voiding the warranty? I'm not looking to turn this into a race truck obviously, but if I could easily add 20 or so rwhp and also increase fuel mileage (this will be my commuter vehicle, about 375 miles per week) without voiding the warranty, I'm all for it. Again, it's been a long time since I had anything 'new,' but I've read that you can upload a tune and then take it back out for service and the dealership can't tell? I'm not trying to cheat anyone and if a tune would technically void the warranty, I'll just keep the stock tune until it expires. That being typed, I'm guessing an air intake and exhaust won't do much without a tune? Thanks in advance!
