Taking off the stock fender flares on z71

I want to take my stock fender flares off to rhino line them and the door handles black i figured chevy would make there offroad package come oem with black accents instead of the ls but has anyone put them on or takin them off it looks like there is plastic snap rivets holdin the bottom on but is the top double sided tape or is it screwed into the body??
