Tap/Push Light for Liftgate?

I've seen mods of dome lights installed on the lift gate for better lighting at night in the rear.

I was thinking there may be an easier way though. Has anyone used or seen tap/push light attached to the lift gate?

Some attach with screws or adhesive. Has anyone done this or know if this works?

Just do the LED bulb upgrade. You will be surprised how bright your interior becomes.

LED upgrade in the interior helps a ton and I love the mod but having lights in the tailgate would also be very useful at times!

The LED conversion definitely did a lot of help. I went ahead and bought the tap light anyways...

The LEDs did better than the light though...

I have LEDs in all of the celing lights and its really bright in the back.
