Anyone know the sizes for the fuel lines towards the fuel filter.
Return line i believe is 5/16s" dont recall the other line..

Also, Im running all new stainless fuel lines for this whipple, im looking for a fuel filter that has more Oomph to it. If i cant find a decent stock replacement with the barb fittings, ill go to some type of 6an style.

I even looked into the 2500 and 3500 fuel filter setups, they have the "oil filter" looking like setup shown below. thanks

It's 3/8ths feed and 5/16ths return. That's factory anyways ... I used some Jegs push-loc hose with clamps on mine, from the tank to the hard line and then at the back of the engine where I put the fuel pressure gauge at when I did my Vortec swap.

I never liked those filters ... I would go with some sort of log style filter:

Honestly if I was to do this I would run an external pump and filter and swap the internal tank pump with a plain sending unit and run new lines from the tank to the engine.

Sending unit setup:

My next fuel system upgrade in this I will be running new 1/2 inch line form the tank to the engine and 3/8ths return with external pump, adjustable regulator and filter. Then I can drop in any engine and feed it. :D

Well im already running a bigger walbro fuel pump along with a Trex Vortech add-a-pump (inline pump to give me even more fuel) then 6an lines to the throttle body with 2 90lb injectors, then to the whipple fuel pressure regulator then back into the tank..

Im still looking at the "log" filters, but there around 40-100 bucks.. 6an style atleast..
