the other day i got the train horn i ordered and i got some time this morning to put it in. it is ******* awesome, way louder than i thought it would be. it is a 150psi 152db triple horn. this thing is huge.

easy install all i needed to do was run an air line off my tank and hook up the power to the valve that came with the horns. mounting was a little bit of an issue since the horns were so big. i had to remove the skid plate behind the front bumper and modify the bracket on the horns. since i dont have fog lights anymore, i rewired the factory fog switch to trip the horns valve.

That's gonna be crazy loud. Won't it be affected by water due to the mounting location?

yeah i seen them on youtube (my inspiration). i thought of the water getting in the horn but semi trucks use the same horns and they are mounted on the roof so im sure they get soaked. we'll see....

I agree, post some videos up for sure, I had a great opportunity last night with a guy backing out of a spot, looking everywhere except at me, got all the way out and in front of my truck before I honked my horn!! Scared the crap out of him as it was, can't imagine what a train horn would have done!!

But up on the roof they are not exposed to direct water (splashing) from your wheels. They just get spray.
