Sup everyone...

I finally got the funding to do some work to the 'hoe.

Any good guides out there for pulling my 350TBI - I have access to plenty of tools and multiple "cherry-pickers."

I waited and now I can afford to get a brand new GM 350TBI http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/images/smilies/party33.gif... dad's buddy works for a Chevy dealership and pretty much said he'd get me a stock replacement engine at cost and I can keep the core. I'm trying to get this engine pulled, but only have the weekends to do it. I want to know as much as I can about pulling the motor so I can do it as quickly and cleanly as possible (since I'll be doing it outside in Phx... hopefully in one of the next upcoming weekends).

Anyone know of any excellent guides out there? I searched the forums and couldn't find any. Been trollin' for a while and know you guys know what the hell you're talking about... maybe you've done a write-up and I missed it? Any tips or tricks I should know about?

Btw... the 'Hoe is a 95 LS 2DR Z71 4x4, 350TBI and 3.73's with posi :D

Also...

What's your guys experience with picking up used 'Hoes? I got mine off a guy who probably didn't know the first thing about maintenance judging by the poor girl's condition. Should I get the transfer case and transmission checked out while the engine is out.. should I check some stuff for myself?

A little more backgorund - she wasn't running when I found her. She had a bad/dead/ancient battery, the starter was dying, fuel pump worked intermittently, needed 2+ quarts of oil to even register on the dip stick.

I replaced the battery, replaced the starter (twice... 'cuz the first one crapped out after less than 50 starts), replaced the fuel pump and filter, replaced the front bumper (was completely jacked up) and the interior door handles, which were completely broken off

So yeah... the 'hoe needs some TLC, but I think she's worth it. Chevy ftw.

Thanks in advance!
