I have a 2016 Tahoe LTZ w11k miles on it, but contemplating downgrading to a 2013 Denali with 86k miles on it. We are moving into a new house, so trying to save some money. Anything I should look out for before buying it? Any common maintenance issues around that mileage level? Last thing I need is a bunch of repairs offsetting the monthly payment savings. Purchase price is ~$33k ... getting $55k for my trade.

Thanks

2013 is a good year. That's a lot of miles on a 13 though. Should be mostly fine, and anything that could be wrong we (TYF) can probably troubleshoot for you on the cheap. Check with your loan officer before making the decision. Sometimes they don't like seeing big purchase / sells before the purchase of a house.

No big issues at 86k besides the catalytic converters possibly. I would look into a 3rd warranty with 100 or so deductible when purchasing

Thanks for the suggestions. I've already closed on the house. so it shouldn't matter. However, if it did, the swap would reduce my payment/loan balance, so you would think the mortgage lender would like it. Good to hear history does not suggest there are expected repairs hitting at routine mileage levels. Anyone know otherwise?

On the extended warranty, goes GMPP offer them at those mileage levels? If not, any suggestions?
