Well I came across a Tahoe I really liked, It's a 2003 Chevy Tahoe LT 5.3L Vortec with 142K on it. The dealer is asking $9500 for it, I know this dealer because i have bought from them before anyway, Looks like It's in really good shape. Does look like someone towed with it because there is a eletronic brake control underneath the dash , I don't do so much towing so no need for it. Currently I have a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS with 160,000 miles on it, I love it but, I need something a little bigger. Just wondering what people think, And by the way is there any common things that go bad on these 5.3L Tahoe's ? I know my 4.2L is pretty reliable. Let me know what you guys think , Thanks! Alec

I would say fuel pump, nothing else is major. Check this forum for fuel pump. Buy a spare one online, save you $100 at least. Replace it if it has not been replaced before. You won't feel good if it suddenly dies on you in the middle of no where.

Location
Expensive Long Island, NY
if you aren't towing, make sure its NOT an autoride truck (will say autoride right under the LT badge on the side if it has it)

autoride suspension is an expensive ***** to replace!
