Speaking of low mileage, I was on another board and somebody posted that his grandmother or aunt or somebody had like a 1993 Camry that only had 30,000 miles on it for sale. I think they wanted $12k for it.
They kept saying "but but but ... LOW MILEAGE! That's GOT to be worth something, right?" and my reply was "yeah, low mileage or not it's still a 1993 Camry." Not exactly a "collector" car there.
That truck might be worth $8000 in 2024 or so when it might qualify as a "collector" car but if it was me I don't think I'd pay a penny over $5k for that (and honestly for $5k you can find an older GMT800 with higher mileage but still IMO a better vehicle.)
