I read the threads...get ideas. Visions of better performance.
No matter how much better it gets, it's like a drug. You know what I mean. I just keep wanting more. I promised myself I would stay stock with my Yukon, and have already dropped for a Predator and now a Magnaflow. I've rationalized this much for better fuel economy. Not sure where I can go from here?

Even though the tune showed some improvement, the exhaust really made the difference. The tune called for a free flowing exhaust and now I understand why. The sound is actually quieter than stock at low rpm but roars at WOT. The stock exhaust on the 6.2l was loud but restrictive. This is much diferent. Pics and a clip to follow tomorrow.

So, you dropped for a Predator... You bought one for ~ $400? Now you can tune your ride, but couldn't you tune others in your area for $200? I'm trying to justify this myself. And then I assume before heading in to dealer you need to reset to factory and from what I can see, restart engine 5-6 times?

Paid $320 for it. I can not only tune it, but then tweak the tune. Once I added the exhaust, the truck came alive. I'm waiting for real highway driving before I can log mileage differences. I can say that it is significantly qicker in 0-60.

I've modded the last few cars I've owned. Anything from suspension to exhaust and engine management. It usually starts slow and progresses. I've got to keep this one in check :laughing1:
