I have to say, it was much more of a sporty drive than I was hoping for. Anything above 60 wasn’t great. Lots of push from the trailer.
I’ll hopefully dial in my equalizer and get it better.

The trailer is a jayco 24mbh. 29’ long and 7400 gvwr. Much heavier and longer than I wanted, but it sure is nice!

Nice. Any idea how much weight you actually had it loaded to?

When his title says, "This just happened", I thought he was showing a before pic and then a "flipped over" accident pic.

Was this a first tow with the trailer from the lot you bought it at or after you loaded the trailer for a trip and how did you load it?

Congrats! We tow a 31 foot camper with our 2012 XL Denali and with a good sway control hitch it’s really stable. But I can tell a big difference if I don’t have the sway control dialed in well. I think a longer wheelbase would be helpful in your case, but you should still be able to get it to feel plenty stable. Towing also takes a little getting used to if you’re not used to it.

We haven’t yet. We got it home and loaded it up and it towed much better with more weight in the front. We’re going to weigh it before our first trip to see what we have.

It was the first tow from the dealer lot. Once we loaded up some weight it felt much better. Still looked nice and level as well.
