Throttle or gas pedel sticking

From time to time the throttle gets stuck. Or the gas pedel. What ever ya wanna call it. It gets "stuck" and you are unable to give it any gas or speed up. Mainly happens from a parked position. Any suggestions what the deal is?

I thought the wife was full of crap until one day it happened to me. I was actually standing up on one foot trying to get the gas pedel to move. Nothing is/was blocking the pedel such as floor mat or debris.

Cable problems?

It doesn't happen all the time, just now and again...

Oh sorry, It's a 2001 Yukon 4x4, 4.8 I think. It's the small V-8.

I guess my truck is the only one that has this issue.

Check the cables maybe. get under there and look up at the mechanical area of the pedal, see if anything is sticking up there. Never heard of this before

Check your floor mats, (Toyota) we may be on to something here. j/k
