I was messing around with the autocal this morning logging some data. I was scrolling through all the sensors until I got to the throttle position. I put the pedal on the floor and the most it would show is 83.1%. Tried it a couple of times with the same result. Anybody know if this is normal.

Yeah I just looked at the data log and it only hit 84% when flooring it... not sure how to interpret it

I haven't done my homework, so this may be a stupid question, but are you sure that is % and not degrees? It would be more logical for a TPS to be calibrated in degrees and 84 degrees would be just about right for WOT.

SW CT,
you need to use a different pid to get the data you are looking for...try:

ETCTP - ETC Indicated Throttle Position ( GM.ETCTP )

or

APP - Accelerator Pedal Position ( GM.APP )

I'm looking at the data log categories and it's listed in percentage. And it is "Absolute Throttle Position" (TP on the Autocal)

Go to your datafile and open it, hit play at the bottom, hit data, and you can then "see" your car while it was datalogging

Thanks Steve for checking that out. I will have to get on and play the data log file like you suggested. Didn't know it would do that. Pretty neat!

The TP parameter operates on an altered range, approx 15-85%.

Looks like you guys are having fun with your new toys!
