No I didn't. This is one of those times you can look back on and say, "That's how I learned that."
So thanks!

How many of these things am I looking for?
In the engine bay, you'll have to look around for the grounds, but they are obvious. There is also a major ground point on the frame under the driver's footwell/seat, underneath the truck.

Thank you guys for helping me out!!
That link is awesome MikeZ71! Knowledge is power...

I went for "easy" and put the new ACdelco throttle body in...same issue. Which is still "rev bump" when downshifting 2-1 and on stop with tranny clunk/hard shift.
I reexamined the wiring in engine bay, no obvious problems.
I educated myself on back probing...but I'm going to get at the other grounds I wasn't able to access the other day first.

Finally, maybe here is a key...I was rolling down a hill to a red light yesterday and shifted to neutral to avoid the hard shifts.

What I got instead was 2500 rpm that would not go away when I shifted back to drive and then park.

I turned the truck off and thankfully my prayers were answered when it restarted with a normal idle. ?!?

I called a week ago but the dealership couldn't get me in till Tuesday/Thursday. I basically decided to go that route instead of getting a proper scan tool...for now.

Any thoughts you guys gots are helpful.

All I want for Christmas is this Tahoe to run...

Thanks again.
