I have a ticking noise the changes with the ram's. I am taking it in to be repaired under my extended warranty. Is there any kind of additive I can use to help it along. Until it gets into the shop?

There are approximately 1 billion causes of ticking noises. Lol. If you can post a video on YouTube with public permissions and link it back here, we will do our best to diagnose it. In the meantime, the short answer to your question is no, in my opinion, depending on the root cause.

Any warranty is always looking for a reason to not pay. That is what they do. The best thing to do is keep it full of the oil you use and do NOT put any additive in it. The warranty company, if they find out an additive is in there, will use that as a reason not to pay the warranty.
