What do you guys recommend for stock replacement tires? Should I just stick with the stock goodyear eagle tires or ?

Dealership quoted me $639 for stock replacements. Seems a bit high?

that sounds surprisingly reasonable for a dealer.

Does that include install?

If you want long lasting go with Michelin. They'll cost a little bit more but they'll go for 70-80k miles. I've also had good luck with Nitto 420 and Toyo Proxes

Michelin's are good, but they can get nosey if you don't rotate them regularly. I actually switched to Bridgestones after my wheels were stolen. They were factory 20's with Michelin's.

Anyone have any recs for new tires for a 15 with 22 wheels?

I want something that is all weather - performs ultra well in snow - and also rides smooth. I am not going to swap out tires/wheels for the seasons, I just don't have it in me. But I'd like my tires to last me 50k or more.

I don't have a ton of experience in the tire buying arena, are my expectations unrealistic?

Those are nice but price is steep. May do it anyway.

How are 420s in snow?

I've had Terra grapplers on my 22s for half a winter and they're amazing. Winter is 7 months long here so I needed something more a/t than you seem to be looking for though. Would recommend them anyway though.

420s are great in snow surprisingly. I've had them for 2 winters so far on my 20s and they've handled everything that's been thrown at them without a hiccup. This includes a few storms that handed up a foot or more of snow and the tires handled it like a dream. Also did well on slicker roads with ice and snow pack conditions.

I got my 420s for $500 a set. Just gotta be patient and look for the deals.
